The Nuffield Business Group now has two study groups; both well supported. The February NBG met at Lord Newborough’s Rhug Estate courtesy of Philip Hughes. Thanks to Philip an outstanding day and half was had with delegates attending from literally 1000km apart; very touching for this newly formed group and I hope everyone perceived its value. Central to the business group is a confidential hub where each delegate shares their previous years experiences - both dilemmas and successes - which are then dissected by all other delegates. The March NBG met up in North East Essex and along with the usual format visited a self-made property developer and an inspirational young educator. As well as being a very enjoyable and effective group meeting, the hotel, food and drink bill totalled under £70 per person highlighting the issue that cost and outcome are not necessarily related.
