The Anglia region is in fine fettle. We had a record number of applicants with five going to interview. I phone and/or meet with all serious applicants and, for those who make it through, consider it one of life’s privileges to follow their progress through to final presentation; and beyond. This year our presenting scholar will be Emily Norton and if her presentation is as good as her report, we are in for a treat. My five years as Anglia coordinator has flown by and I will be succeeded in 2020 by the very capable Tom Chapman. I hope he enjoys it as much as I did.
