After studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nottingham I have worked in farm practice in both the UK and Australia. I am now a Veterinary Advisor for a pharmaceutical company, providing training and support in preventative ruminant health across the south of England. I live on a dairy farm in Oxfordshire where my partner is the herd manager.

Study Overview
Cattle health schemes can play a central role in improving the welfare, sustainability and productivity of the UK herd. Solutions exist but implementation can be a challenge. I will be exploring the prioritisation of disease control and how the industry can work together to ensure that cattle health schemes are successful.
