The Savitri Waney Charitable Trust

The Savitri Waney Charitable Trust is a small family foundation dedicated to improving human and environmental health. Through active, community-led philanthropy, the Trust funds global health and environmental issues at both grassroots and policy level, guided by the belief that everyone deserves good health and that vulnerable communities bear the greatest burden when the balance between people and nature is disrupted. The Trust awards up to £1 million annually to individuals, organisations and collaborative partnerships, focusing on three key areas: Healthy Communities, Caring for the Land and Stopping Harmful Chemicals.
