I grew up on my family farm, earned a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, and spent five years working in international motorsport before serving as a Royal Engineer Officer in the British Army. I returned to Cornwall in 2012 and went on to establish a grass-based dairy farming business.
My background in engineering, data systems and practical farm management has given me a strong interest in how technology can be applied effectively in commercial agriculture. I particularly enjoy bridging the gap between technical ideas and practical implementation on farm, and using experiences from outside agriculture to challenge how farming businesses operate and make decisions.

Costs are dropping, capabilities are exploding, and industries that wait risk falling behind. The tools are mature enough to deploy, but still new enough to give early adopters a major edge.
Globally, agriculture is undergoing an accelerated AI revolution—and this is a pivotal moment. There is an opportunity to position the UK dairy industry as a leader in tech-enabled, sustainable farming and I wish to capture valuable insights into a fast-moving landscape.
