Royal Armouries Museum
The Royal Armouries Museum is one of Leeds’ flagship cultural venues and the UK’s national museum of arms and armour. Set within the modern Leeds Dock waterfront district, the museum offers five floors of galleries, live demonstrations, and iconic objects that span more than a thousand years of global history.
Purpose‑built in 1996 to house the national collection, the museum is known for its dramatic architecture, including the Hall of Steel — a soaring central tower lined with thousands of weapons displayed in striking vertical formations. Entry is free for all visitors, making it an accessible and engaging destination for delegates attending events in the city.
