
Trevor Alcorn 2015 NSch
Trevor is a 2015 Scholar, who studied "Does the family dairy farm have a future", sponsored by the Thomas Henry Foundation. He lives outside Omagh, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland, with wife Barbara and daughter Lucy and is a partner in family dairy business which currently milks 210 Holstein Dairy Cows, plus followers on a forage based system. Trevor completed a BAgr at Queens University, Belfast and off farm works for CAFRE, acting as an adviser and facilitator to four Dairy Discussion Groups. Over the years Trevor has held various roles within the wider rural community, Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster, Ulster Grassland Society, Camphill Community and currently founder member and secretary of Blacksessiagh Farmers Group, Executive committee of Tyrone Farming Society and Vice Chairman of Nuffield NI Region.
