Roisin Taylor is an advocate for the British cut flower industry, working to bring attention to the sector through advocacy, campaigning and raising awareness of the growers at the heart of the sector. She is also co-director for UK Youth for Nature, the UK’s leading youth network calling on the government to take action on nature-loss, runs Verde Flower Co. a flower farming and florist business in the north-east of England, and is an ambassador for Green Jobs for Nature. She has a degree from the University of Cambridge in Human, Social and Political Sciences, as well as a MLitt in Middle East, Caucasus and Central Asian Security Studies from the University of St Andrews. Both degrees, Roisin focused her research on farming, food and water security.

Her Nuffield Farming scholarship, completed in 2024, looked at whether the British cut flower industry was prepared for a 2-degree warming world. Roisin is part of the Reputation and Public Outreach group working on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion via the AgDiversity programme at Nuffield, and is a passionate advocate for inclusion and diversity in both the world of farming and the environment.
