Well, all I can say is what a night we all had at the Farmers Weekly awards, it was a fantastic night made all the better by winning 'Pig Farmer of the year''. Our whole family headed down to London on Thursday for a little trip out! It was all very exciting and to be honest as much as I really wanted to win just being there was going to be good enough! we started off going for drinks on the top floor of a hotel with amazing views of the city, it really was quite a setting, along with our family we also had Guy our vet, Paul our nutritionalist and Giles from JSR joining us and then Cranswick and Sainsburys had a table next to us so we had quite a gang of us! There was a lot of people at the do and some celebs as well, it's surprising how many people we knew! The meal and awards were great and we sat waiting very nervously for our category, typically it was nearly the last one! But when it was we went crazy, if you look at the pictures you can see that the whole family piled onto the stage, quite different to other winners, but although Dad and Mum have done all the hard work and they have achieved so much it is a family business and so we were all part of the team! The rest of the night is a bit of a blur!! Although we all made it past 2am which is a shock for us all and I think I managed about 3! We are all so honoured and proud to of been named Pig Farmer of the year, thanks!

Anyway, enough about the award, the following day it has to be said we all felt a little rough! But no time to rest I had a flight to catch, I was flying to China and for some crazy reason I decided to fly with Russia Airlines, not the best call I have ever made! But I did eventually land in China! So I'm currently sat in a hotel in Beijing, what a crazy city! So far I have not seen a pig but I have visited the Great Wall of China which is amazing, I can't really describe it but its well worth a visit. I also visited a tea room, the silk factory, the tombs and a pearl factory, I think that's all at the mo, it was a very busy day but China certainly has history and they have some very strong beliefs. Last night I went to a Kung Fo show, it was fantastic, I really have no idea how they do it but I was very impressed and think I may take it up in my spare time!!!

Right enough waffle from me, got to go do some work!!! Facebook and I think twitter are not allowed in China so please just keep checking if I have posted a new blog! Bye for now
