Campbell Tweed elected President of the Ulster Farmers Union
The Trust wishes every success to Campbell Tweed in his new role of President of the Ulster Farmers Union. In addition to being a Scholar Campbell is a Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Societies and last year was awarded an OBE for his work as Chairman of The Northern Ireland Historic Monuments Council.
Campbell farms mainly beef and sheep on a hill farm near Larne, Co Antrim. For his scholarship he studied lamb and beef production in an unsupported market, travelling in New Zealand.
