Understanding and making money from new media
The second Nuffield Communications Study Group meets in mid-September.
The event focuses exclusively on new media and sets out to provide a practical what, why and how guide of internet and mobile communications, along with recent advances in communications technology. It will also cover real life case studies demonstrating business use and why new media is essential to the future of your business.
Areas covered include blogging, twittering, e-marketing/newsletters, e-commerce, producing/posting podcasts and videos, telephone and web conferencing, website stats/analytics, search engines - and more.
New media enthusiasts and practitioners, Heather Gorringe NSch of Wiggly Wigglers and Rob Ward NSch of the Food Marketing Network, will lead the programme. They will also demonstrate how they have applied the technology to their own businesses and lessons learned.
The event will be held at the Ludlow Food Centre, Shropshire, on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th September (1.5 days) and is open to all Nuffield Scholars, as well as friends and colleagues.
